How far is Red Rocks from Denver?
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is in Morrison, Colorado, about 15 miles (25-30 minutes) west of downtown Denver. From DIA it's about 35 miles (45-50 minutes).
Can you pick me up from my hotel in Denver?
Absolutely. We pick up anywhere in the Denver metro — hotels, residences, restaurants, offices. Most clients have us pick up from downtown Denver, Cherry Creek, the DTC, or their hotel after dinner. We handle the timing so you arrive right when gates open.
Is there a Red Rocks limo service available?

How does concert pickup work after the show?
Your chauffeur is parked on site before the venue's 8:30 p.m. vehicle-entry cutoff and waits there through the show, then texts you the exact location as the encore ends. You walk to a waiting vehicle instead of queuing in a lot or waiting on surge pricing.
Will my driver wait during the event?
Yes. On hourly service the vehicle and chauffeur stay with your party for the full event. On point-to-point service we return at a scheduled time — either way you have one named contact, not a new stranger each leg.
How long from Denver to Red Rocks?
25–45 minutes depending on where in Denver and concert traffic. From downtown or Cherry Creek, plan 30–40 minutes pre-show.
How much does a Red Rocks private car cost?
Starting at $150/hour for a Luxury Sedan. A typical concert service runs 4–5 hours (pre-show through post-show). You see your exact rate before booking.
Can I book just the return trip?
Yes. Drive yourself there, and we pick you up after. Just set a time and location.
Is private transportation cheaper than parking and rideshare for a group?
For three or more people it is often comparable once you add parking, surge pricing on the way out, and the risk of no ride at 11 p.m. — and nobody in your party has to skip drinks or drive a mountain road afterward.
Can you handle group transportation to an event?
Yes. Arion runs single vehicles up to 57-passenger coaches and coordinates multi-vehicle waves with staggered arrivals, one dispatch contact, and a shared timeline for the venue.
Is there surge pricing for popular shows?
Never. Our rates are the same regardless of the artist, day of week, or demand. A Saturday night sold-out show costs the same as a Tuesday weeknight.
Where exactly does a private car drop off at Red Rocks?
Top Circle Gate — the closest access point to the amphitheatre entrance, reserved for limo and shuttle vehicles and ADA parking. You can't access it with a personal vehicle. The walk from drop-off to the entrance is measured in steps.
Is Red Rocks wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The venue has wheelchair accessible seating in Row 1 at stage level and Row 70 at the top, and both rows are served by accessible parking. These seats must be selected when you buy your tickets — Red Rocks will not guarantee an accommodation without a ticket for that row. Wheelchairs are not available to rent at the venue, so bring your own device. Folding chairs are provided in both rows if you prefer to transfer out of your chair.
Where should our car drop off a guest who uses a wheelchair?
It depends on which row you hold. For Row 70, we drop at the Top Circle Lot, about 500 feet from the row. For Row 1, the venue routes guests through the Upper South Lot and runs its own accessible shuttle to a drop point roughly 275 feet from Row 1, serving Rows 1, 2 and 3. That shuttle starts when doors open and keeps running until everyone who needs it is back at their vehicle. Tell us your row when you book and we will plan the drop around it.
If we hold Row 1 tickets, can our party arrive in separate vehicles?
No, and this one catches people out. Red Rocks requires the entire ticketed Row 1 party to arrive together at the Southeast entrance. Anyone arriving separately is denied entry. The original purchaser's photo ID is verified, the group is asked attestation questions in person, and everyone is wristbanded. If your group is larger than one vehicle, book a vehicle that seats everyone rather than splitting the party.
Can Arion use my disability placard to park at Red Rocks?
No. Colorado and the venue both require the person the placard or plate is registered to be in the vehicle, with matching identification. Once we have dropped you off, your chauffeur cannot use your placard to hold an accessible space. We drop at the designated limo and shuttle point and stage elsewhere until you are ready. Accessible spaces are first come, first served, and event parking opens two hours before doors.
A guest has limited stamina but does not use a wheelchair. What are the options?
Red Rocks reserves Rows 2 and 3, seats 6 to 13, for guests with limited mobility who do not need a wheelchair but benefit from accessible seating. Rows 2 and 3, seats 14 to 21 are held for guests who are blind, have low vision, or are deaf or hard of hearing. Row 1 is specifically for guests who cannot climb even two stairs. All of it is arranged with the venue at the time of purchase — email [email protected] or call 720-865-2494 extension 3. Arion cannot assign or change venue seating.
Does Arion have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for Red Rocks?
Our fleet does not include a lift or ramp vehicle. We regularly carry guests who can transfer into a vehicle seat, and we stow folding wheelchairs, walkers, canes and portable oxygen without any fuss. If a guest needs to leave early, can they come back in?
Generally no. Once a ticket is scanned, Red Rocks does not allow re-entry except for weather or medical emergencies. That is worth planning around if a guest may need a break during the show. Your chauffeur stays reachable the whole evening, so if leaving early becomes the right call, we can be at the pickup point rather than you waiting on a rideshare.
What about Uber or Lyft to Red Rocks?
Getting there is fine. Getting home is the problem. The designated rideshare pickup is the Jurassic Lot — a 25-minute walk from the venue. After shows, cell service drops, wait times hit 30–60 minutes, and surge pricing regularly turns a $35 ride into $100+.
What's the difference between a shuttle and a private car?
Shuttles run about $55–65 per person round trip on a fixed schedule with shared seating. A private car runs $270–405+ for the vehicle, on your schedule, door-to-door. For couples or groups of 3+, the per-person cost is often comparable.
Can I book a party bus or Sprinter to Red Rocks?
Yes. Our Sprinter vans seat up to 12 (from $325/hr), our party buses handle 20–40+ passengers, and our 57-passenger coach bus is available for larger groups (both quote only). One vehicle, one price, everyone rides together.
What are the parking lots at Red Rocks?
Upper North (closest, fills 60–90 min early, worst exit), Upper South (ADA accessible, sometimes closed), Lower North (uphill stair climb), Lower South 1 & 2 (farthest walk, fastest exit), and Jurassic Lot (overflow, one mile from venue, rideshare pickup zone).
How early should I leave for Red Rocks?
Leave Denver 90 minutes before doors on weeknight shows, 2 hours on weekends and sold-out nights. The I-70/Morrison exit backs up fast. From DIA, add another 20–30 minutes.
Can we make a stop along the way?
Yes. Everything is booked hourly, so a stop for gear, a liquor store or food is not a problem. If it is a meal, we will make sure you know it was not part of the original plan and that the clock runs until you reach your destination. Your chauffeur is yours for the trip. Our focus is always on the people presently in front of us, and finding a driver for the next client is dispatch's job, not your problem.
How much wait time is included?
Fifteen minutes free on non-airport transfers and 30 minutes on airport arrivals, after which the vehicle's hourly rate applies, prorated in fifteen-minute increments. Delays outside your control — a late flight, slow or lost bags — are never billed as wait time; the clock runs only when the extra time is your choice. Airport arrivals work differently and more generously: your pickup is set thirty minutes after your actual arrival, and the complimentary thirty-minute wait window begins at that pickup time — so you have roughly an hour on the ground before any wait time applies. Extraordinary weather and road-closure delays are addressed separately in our Terms of Service.
Is gratuity included?
No, and we do not force it at booking. Our philosophy is that drivers earn their gratuity. You can prepay one if you prefer.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Two hours for any pickup between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Inside two hours it is Rush service for an additional $50, and we only confirm it once a driver is assigned. We will not take a booking we cannot cover. For a pickup between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., book before 10 p.m., when our office is staffed. Service itself runs 24/7, 365.
How early does the chauffeur arrive?
Fifteen minutes before your pickup time. That window is for a final inspection of the vehicle, a review of the route, a traffic check and, if needed, an alternate route. For weddings the chauffeur is on site thirty minutes prior.
How does pickup work at Red Rocks after the show?
Red Rocks closes the park to arriving vehicles at 8:30 p.m. on show nights, so your chauffeur parks on site before the cutoff and waits through the performance. When the show ends the vehicle is already in the lot, which is the whole point: you are not walking down to the Jurassic Lot with everyone whose ride is still trying to get in.
Can we drink in the vehicle?
Alcohol is welcome for passengers 21 and over. Consumption by anyone under 21 is not permitted. Soda, water and refreshments are on board for everyone. Smoking is not permitted in any Arion vehicle, and a smoking incident carries a minimum $500 cleaning charge.
What will I know before the trip?
Twenty-four hours before pickup you receive a text with your chauffeur's name, their contact number and photo, the vehicle and its license plate, and your full trip details, with a request to confirm everything is correct. You are then texted again when the chauffeur is on the way, when they are on location, when you are on board, and when the trip is complete. Both the passenger and whoever booked the trip receive every update, so an assistant booking on someone's behalf never has to chase a status. You can also track the vehicle's location from an hour before pickup and throughout the trip.
