The vehicle
The EQS 450 is Mercedes-Benz’s full-size electric flagship, and it drives like what it replaced in our fleet: a long wheelbase, a quiet cabin, and a back seat sized for a working passenger rather than a commuter. What changes is the absence of an engine. There is no idle, no vibration at a red light, no exhaust at a hotel entrance or a client’s front door, and no engine noise underneath a phone call.
The interior is specified the way our clients actually use a sedan: rear-seat ambient lighting, chilled water on the console, USB power at every seat, heated seats, and a rear cabin quiet enough to take a call from the airport to downtown without apologizing for the background.

Ground transportation shows up in Scope 3 business travel, and travel managers are increasingly asked whether a zero-emission option exists on the routes their people actually fly. In Denver, most chauffeured operators cannot answer yes. We can, for Front Range and airport work.
We are deliberate about what we claim: we are not carbon neutral, we do not sell offsets, and we do not publish an emissions calculation for your trip. What we provide is a zero-tailpipe-emission vehicle, a documented trip record, and an invoice that identifies the electric vehicle so your travel or sustainability team can report it accurately. Where the electric sedan fits — and where it does not
It fits: Denver International airport transfers, executive point-to-point around the metro, roadshows and client days downtown, dinner and theater evenings, and hotel work where a silent arrival matters. See Denver airport transportation for how our airport pickups work.
It does not fit: mountain and ski itineraries, groups larger than three, or trips with skis, boards, golf clubs or more than three bags. Our Luxury Sedan is assigned to Front Range and metro work in winter conditions; mountain trips go to AWD or 4WD SUVs and vans on winter-rated tires that carry chains under Colorado’s Traction Law. Does Arion have an electric vehicle?
Yes. Arion's Luxury Sedan is a 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450, a full-size all-electric flagship sedan that joined the fleet in September 2026. It is the vehicle assigned to our electric requests, and it is the same tier and the same base rate as our other Luxury Sedan work: $150 per hour, 2-hour minimum, first 40 miles of the booking included, 3 passengers and 3 bags.
How much does electric car service cost in Denver?
The all-electric Luxury Sedan is $150 per hour base with a 2-hour minimum, the same as any Arion Luxury Sedan booking. There is no electric premium and no electric discount. Applicable tax and card processing are itemized on your quote, and gratuity is separate and at your discretion. The fuel surcharge is removed on electric vehicle trips — the EQS does not use fuel, so you are not billed for it. Your exact total is shown before you confirm.
Can I request the electric vehicle specifically?
Yes. Choose the “EV Sedan — Luxury” vehicle option when you book and the EQS is assigned to your trip. Because it is a single vehicle, request it as far ahead as you can, particularly for early-morning airport runs and back-to-back corporate days.
Is the electric sedan used for mountain and ski trips?
No. The Luxury Sedan, electric or otherwise, is assigned to Front Range and Denver metro work, and mountain trips go to our AWD and 4WD SUVs and vans on winter-rated tires. If your itinerary runs to Vail, Breckenridge, Aspen or a ski resort, we will quote the right mountain vehicle instead of the sedan.
Does this help our company's sustainability reporting?
It gives you a zero-tailpipe-emission ground transportation option for the trips it covers, which is what most Scope 3 business travel reporting asks about. We do not publish a carbon calculation or sell offsets. What we can provide is the vehicle, the trip record, and an invoice that identifies the electric vehicle so your travel or ESG team can document it.
What are the corporate account requirements?
Arion, LLC operates under Colorado PUC authority LL-04689 and carries $1.5M commercial auto and $5M general liability coverage. We provide a certificate of insurance naming your company as additional insured, a W-9, and our PUC permit for vendor onboarding. Corporate work is prepaid, with a 30% deposit and the balance due 14 days before the trip; post-trip overages are billed net 30.
Is the fuel surcharge charged on the electric vehicle?
No. Our standard 12% fuel surcharge is removed from the quote on electric vehicle trips, because the EQS does not use fuel. Applicable tax and card processing still apply, and gratuity remains separate and at your discretion.
